A CLEANER WAY TO WORK
Match contacts by email, products by SKU, or orders by a combination of fields. Exact matches keep the first occurrence. Combine with trimming when stray spaces are getting in the way.
A SMALL EXAMPLE
Select SKU as the duplicate key. With trimming enabled, two entries for 00124 become one record, while 00125 stays separate.
| SKU | Name | Date |
|---|---|---|
| 00124 | Canvas tote | 03/14/2026 |
| 00124 | Canvas tote | 03/14/2026 |
| (empty row) | ||
| 00125 | Desk tray | 03/15/2026 |
| SKU | Name | Date |
|---|---|---|
| 00124 | Canvas tote | 03/14/2026 |
| 00125 | Desk tray | 03/15/2026 |
THE LITTLE DETAILS
Need a quick answer before you start? Here’s how it works.
Import your CSV, enable Remove duplicates, and select one or more key columns. Click Clean files to keep the first row for each unique key.
Yes. Select every column that makes a record unique, such as email plus order ID. A row is removed only when the complete selected combination matches.
Yes. Matches are exact and case-sensitive. [email protected] and [email protected] remain separate. Trimming is a separate option applied before matching.
The first occurrence in input order is kept. In merge mode, file order follows the import list, and duplicates can be removed across files.
Yes. Empty selected keys are exact matches too. Review your key columns before cleaning to avoid collapsing records with missing identifiers.
Cells and headers beginning with =, +, -, or @, including after whitespace, receive an apostrophe on export to prevent formula execution. This intentionally changes those exported values. Always review sensitive data before sharing.
LESS FUSS. BETTER FILES.
